I am a surgical oncologist treating patients with musculoskeletal cancers. My area of expertise is orthopaedic surgery, with a special focus on bone cancer, soft tissue sarcomas, spine surgery and complex limb reconstruction. The OSU Comprehensive Cancer Center– James is home to one of the nation’s premier cancer-related orthopaedic surgery centers, where we provide comprehensive, individualized treatment for every patient.In my work to find treatments for these types of cancers, I’ve co-authored medical articles on surgical oncology and soft tissue sarcomas, presented nearly three dozen medical abstracts worldwide and have contributed to 45 published manuscripts. Additionally, I serve on the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and as a fellow with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.
