Patrick is a first year PhD student in the Molecular Cancer Biology program at Duke University. Prior to starting at Duke, he completed a BS in Molecular & Cellular Biology, BS in Applied Mathematics & Statistics, and MS in Molecular & Cellular Biology at Johns Hopkins University (completed in 2022). For his Master's degree, Patrick completed a thesis focusing on the refoldability of the S. cerevisiae transcriptome under the mentorship of Dr. Stephen Fried at Johns Hopkins. Back in his hometown of Toronto, he also conducted research on circulating tumor DNA and peritumoral edemas in sarcoma under the mentorship of Dr. Irene Andrulis at the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute.
