Sam is a sophomore completing her undergraduate education at Duke University. She is planning to major in Cell and Molecular Biology with minors in Chemistry and Cultural Anthropology. She has been an undergraduate researcher in the Linardic Lab since August 2021 and plans to continue working under the mentorship of Dr. Linardic and Elizabeth Mendes in the future. She is passionate about pediatric cancer biology, specifically interested in epigenetics and oncogenic signaling pathways. Sam is also involved in various pre-health and global health oriented activities on campus. In the future, she plans to pursue an MD/PhD education to continue in the field of pediatric oncology.
