PhD Student, Department of Pharmacology and Cancer Biology
Duke University School of Medicine
Elizabeth is a third-year doctoral student in Pharmacology and Cancer Biology at Duke University School of Medicine. Elizabeth studies the regulatory roles of Hippo kinases, MST1 and MST2, in PAX3-FOXO1 fusion-positive rhabdomyosarcoma under the mentorship of Corinne Mary Linardic MD PhD. Her project aims to identify druggable targets downstream of Hippo kinase inhibition. Diversity, equity, and inclusion work is close to Elizabeth's heart and she frequently mentors prospective graduate students across the globe. Outside of research, Elizabeth enjoys science communication, outreach, and volunteering with the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
