Charlotte Brinch is an MD and has recently handed in her PhD thesis. The PhD study was conducted at the Department of Oncology at Copenhagen University Hospital, Herlev Hospital in Denmark. The group of supervisors for the PhD-study consisted of consultant, PhD, assistant professor, Anders Krarup-Hansen, professor, PhD, DMSc, Estrid Hogdall and MD, MSc, PhD, associate professor Ninna Aggerholm Pedersen.
The PhD study was a national study focusing on biomarkers in patients with Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumour (GIST).
Charlotte became an MD in 2015. During medical school, she worked with the Danish national sarcoma database and performed a pre-graduate research project regarding the prognostic value of baseline KIT and PDGFRA mutations in patients with GIST.
