Dr. Amankwah is an Associate Professor in Oncology and pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He received a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He is the Director of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital (JHACH) in St. Petersburg, Florida, USA and is also the Director of the Data Coordinating Center (DCC) for Pediatric Multicenter Studies within the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Institute for Clinical and Translational Research. In this capacity, he directly oversees and mentors epidemiologists and biostatisticians, and collaborates with investigators from the Johns Hopkins community as well as external investigators to provide expertise in study design, analysis, and database design and management.
