Medical Oncologist, Professor of Pediatrics
Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Hospital for Sick Children, AYA, CanSaRCC, Canada
I am professor in the department of pediatrics at the University of Toronto and am cross appointed as a staff oncologist at the Hospital for Sick Children and Princess Margaret Cancer Center. At Princess Margaret, I am the medical director of the Adolescent and Young Adult Program, and a staff medical oncologist in the Sarcoma Program. My entire career has been dedicated to the study of sarcoma in children, adolescents and adults, as exemplified by my publications and committee involvement. I am the chair of the largest clinical trial in pediatric rhabdomyosarcoma, NCT02567435. I am the founder and director of the Canadian Sarcoma Research and Clinical Collaboration (CanSaRCC), an investigator-initiated effort to collect data on Canadian sarcoma patients and facilitate virtual bio-banking.
