Dr. Sharon Tzelnick graduated with her M.D. degree in 2013 from the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel. She completed residency training in the department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the Rabin Medical Center and the University of Tel Aviv. She completed her Master’s of Public Health at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2012. She is currently a clinical fellow in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery at Toronto General Hospital and Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. In 2021 she was a research fellow in the Guided Therapeutics Lab at the TECHNA Institute-Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. Her research at the Guided Therapeutics lab focused on photodynamic therapy (PDT), photothermal therapy (PTT) and nanomedicine clinical trials in head and neck cancer under the guidance of Drs Jonathan Irish and Gang Zheng.
