Dr Albiruni Abdul Razak is a clinician investigator based at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and Mount Sinai Hospital. He is also an Assicate Professor in the Medical Faculty of University of Toronto.
Originally from Malaysia, he obtained his medical degree in Ireland under a scholarship. After completing general medical residency, he completed oncology fellowships both in Ireland and England. Dr Abdul Razak then undertook a drug development fellowship at the Princess Margaret and transitioned into staff position in 2013, with a focus on sarcoma and early drug development.
Dr Abdul Razak has been the principal investigator of over 100 clinical trials and has published over 140 journal articles.
