Emily Long Sarro earned her BSN in Nursing from NYU and subsequently her Family Nurse Practitioner MSN from Columbia University. She has spent her entire nursing career at MSK in a few different roles. Currently Emily is the founding nurse practitioner in the Adolescent and Young Adult Program where she partakes in clinical care, program development, education and research. She has a passion for providing comprehensive, holistic medical care, while validating the AYA patient experience. Emily has been published in Nursing Ethics and earned numerous grants for AYA initiatives. She enjoys spending time with her family and exercising.
