Sophia Zhao hails from Newark, Delaware, and is an undergraduate student at Yale University pursuing a B.S. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry and a B.A. in the History of Science, Medicine, and Public Health. She is a research assistant for the Bindra Laboratory at the Yale School of Medicine investigating novel inhibitors of pediatric cancers.
