Tomohisa Sakai is a bone and soft tissue tumor surgeon/orthopedic surgeon and assistant professor at the Rare Cancer Center of Nagoya University Hospital. He completed his doctoral degree in 2018 with the study of 'Immunohistochemical staining with non-phospho β-catenin as a diagnostic and prognostic tool of COX-2 inhibitor therapy for patients with extra-peritoneal desmoid-type fibromatosis'. His research interests include desmoid-type fibromatosis, phosphaturic mesenchymal tumor, and the management of metastatic bone tumors.
