Daniel Lerman, MD, is an orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in the care of adult and pediatric patients with benign and malignant tumors of bone and soft tissue. His clinical expertise includes limb-sparing surgery, reconstructive procedures for sarcoma, osseointegration, advances in the management of metastatic bone disease, and complex/revision arthroplasty.
He is currently a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society, the Connective Tissue Oncology Society and American Society of Clinical Oncology. He serves as a reviewer for multiple scientific journals including Clinical Orthopedics and Related Research and Journal of Surgical Oncology.
Dr. Lerman serves as Co-Medical Director of the Institute for Limb Preservation and volunteers his time as a member of Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the Limb Preservation Foundation (https://limbpreservation.org).
