Amani is currently a final year Clinical PhD Fellow at the Institute of Cancer Research in London, UK. Her work focuses on soft tissue sarcoma and how quantitative imaging and radiogenomics can better our understanding of the biological heterogeneity of this complex group of tumours. She combines advancing imaging techniques with biological profiling of tissue aiming to characterise the various radiophenotypes of sarcoma and their underlying biological counterparts. Amani has a background as a paediatric registrar aspiring to continue translational research and bridge the gap between bench and bedside to ultimately improve patient outcomes.
