Danielle was born in Auckland, New Zealand and lived there until the age of 13, when she moved to the United States. She attended undergraduate at UCLA, where she was on the Division I gymnastics team. Following undergraduate, she completed medical school at UCSF and is now in her last year of orthopaedic surgery residency at UCLA. After residency, she will be attending Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for a fellowship in Orthopaedic Oncology Fellowship. She hopes to pursue a career in Academic Medicine. Her specific research interests include orthoapedic implant failure, specifically periprosthetic joint infection, as well as resident education.
