Resident in Medical Oncology
University of Milan, Italy
I'm a last year resident in Medical Oncology at the University of Milan, working in the sarcoma department of the Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori di Milano under the lead of Prof. Casali. I'm currently doing a fellowship at The Netherland Cancer Institute in Amsterdam which is giving me the chance to deepen my knowledge on clinical research and widen my perspectives on how sarcoma are treated around Europe.
I'm passionate about medicine and oncology in particular, considering the personal and psychological approach that is needed to work in this field.
I like to build a relationship with my patients in order for them to trust me as a doctor. What I find interesting about sarcomas it is the heterogeneity of the disease and the multimodal approach which allows me to confront myself with other specialist on a daily basis.
In my free time, i do sports (jogging and skiing are definitely my favourite) and i try to have some quality time with my family and friends.
Second of two siblings, I love being a aunt and spend time with my 7years and 5 years old nieces.
