Dr. Antoine Bouchard-Fortier is a Clinical Assistant Professor within the Department of Surgery, Oncology and Community Health Sciences at the University of Calgary. He obtained his medical degree at Université de Montréal going on to complete a residency in general surgery and a Master of Sciences in Clinical Epidemiology at Université Laval in Quebec City. He then completed a fellowship in General Surgical Oncology in Calgary and an international fellowship at Gustave Roussy Institute in France for additional training in peritoneal surface malignancies and oncoplastic surgery. His areas of clinical and research interests include advanced gastroinstestinal cancers, peritoneal surface malignancies and soft tissue sarcoma. Since July 2020, he is the program director for the general surgical oncology fellowship at the University of Calgary.
