Pediatric Oncologist
Atrium Health - Levine Children's Hospital
“It is amazing to be involved in a field that is making advances so quickly to improve the care and outcome for our patients.”
Dr. Trovillion is board certified in pediatric hematology-oncology (cancer and blood disorders). She specializes in pediatric sarcomas.
She is an assistant professor at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Pediatric Cancer & Blood Disorders as well as in the Isabella Santos Foundation Rare & Solid Tumor Program.
Dr. Trovillion always knew she would be a pediatrician. Pediatric oncology brought together everything she loved about the field of pediatrics: continuity of care, inpatient and outpatient settings, and acute and chronic care. She is humbled by walking beside her patients and their families on this difficult journey and the energy and strength of her young patients inspire her on a daily basis.
She received her medical degree at Rutgers University and completed her residency and fellowship training at the University of California San Diego.
She loves spending time with her husband and 2 amazing children hiking in the woods, riding bikes and playing in the dirt. She and her husband love to travel and her favorite country visited so far is New Zealand. She loves to ride her Peloton bike and enjoys listening to audiobooks.
