Master student
Department of Biosciences, University of Milan and Italian Institute for Genomic Medicine (Candiolo, Turin)), Italy
I'm a master's student in Bioinformatics for Computational Genomic at the University of Milan.
I received a bachelor's degree in Biotechnology at the University of Florence, with a thesis focused on computational methods for the reconstruction of single-individual haplotypes using third-generation sequencing data. Then, I joined an extracurricular traineeship hosted by the Cancer Genomics and Bioinformatics lab supervised by Dr. Matteo Cereda at IIGM - Italian Institute for Genomic Medicine, where I explored RNA methylation of tumoral samples using Direct RNA sequencing data obtained by Oxford Nanopore technology. I'm currently finishing my master's thesis at the University of Milan.
