Dr. Chen serves as a colorectal & sarcoma surgeon at Peking University International Hospital(PKUIH). He got his MD and MSC degree both from Chinese TOP 5 Medical University with excellent GPT and performance. Now he is an associate chief physician of PKUIH as well as a Ph.D. candidate at Capital Medical University in China. From 2016 through 2017, he was designated as a research fellow and senior visiting scholar of Cleveland Clinic Florida, under the supervision of one of most leading experts and pioneers—-Dr. Steven D Wexner. From Jan. 2019, he was employed as an attending surgeon in the Department of Colorectal Surgery and retroperitoneal surgery, which is the largest sarcoma referral center in China. And now he is a high-volume sarcoma surgeon with experience of more than 500 retroperitoneal tumor cases.
During his 18 years of clinical practice, he made a lot of contributions to science. His works were presented more than 10 times in Chinese national and International Conferences, like ASCRS, ACS, ESCP, ACPGBI, CTOS, etc. He is a member of CTOS, TARPSWG, ASCRS and ESCP. He had 5 SCI-indexed publications and more than 10 academic papers published in the Chinese language. Now he was also a reviewer of a series of highly indexed journals such as WJG, IJCD, and JIS and an editorial board member of ATM. He was a co-writer of 4 books He also holds 4 patents about transanal operation platforms and operative retractors.
