After completing her Masters of Science degree at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Darcy Welch worked in academic research at UCLA as well as in the pharmaceutical industry. Finally finding a home at Moffitt Cancer Center, Darcy has spent the last five years resarching pediatric cancers. Her first project focused on Ewing Sarcoma and a translational approach to finding new drug combination strategies to enhance treatment effect. Her current project focuses on the CMG helicase as a potential novel, druggable target for osteosarcoma.
