My name is Deborah, I am a PhD student at the NKI-AVL in the Netherlands. My PhD focusses on health-related quality of life of GIST patients, specifically advanced and metastatic GIST patients responding to long-term tyrosine kinase inhibitor treatment. After I finished my medical school and before I started my PhD, I worked in several hospitals as resident not in training, but I hope to become an oncologist one day.
