Homma Khosroyani is currently a fifth year PhD candidate in the research group of Dr. Michael Heinrich at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. She received her B.S. degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Washington in 2016. As part of her dissertation work in Dr. Michael Heinrich’s lab, she studies the mechanisms of drug resistance in order to provide insight on the treatment strategies for PDGFRA-mutant gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) patients.
