Dr. Kelly Bailey MD,PhD is a physician scientist and pediatric oncologist at the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. Her clinical interest is pediatric sarcomas and her laboratory studies focus on better understanding the microenvironment of relapsed Ewing sarcoma. Some of her current work aims to understand the intersection of DNA damage and immunobiology in this rare adolescent and young adult primary bone tumor. Dr. Bailey is a co-founder of the Pittsburgh Sarcoma Research Collaborative (PSaRC) and volunteers with the non-profit group Pittsburgh Cure Sarcoma. Nationally, she is a Children’s Oncology Group member and leads the Localized Ewing sarcoma Task Force for the Bone Tumor Committee.
