Amy Korsch-Williams is a Senior Instructor at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University and a faculty affiliate of the Center on Trauma and Adversity. Ms. Korsch-Williams joined the faculty as Director and Assistant Dean of Field Education in 2016 after spending nearly two decades in leadership roles within child welfare, public health and community behavioral health practice settings. Ms.Korsch-Williams’ teaching and scholarship focus on trauma informed social work practice, interprofessional education & training, and behavioral health workforce development. She holds expertise in early childhood and infant mental health and development, child and adolescent behavioral health, complex trauma, and trauma informed assessment & intervention at the individual, organizational and community levels. Ms. Korsch-Williams provides training to practitioners across the United States in the development and supervision of social work practice, trauma informed supervision and instruction, and trauma informed practice.
