Hyunjune Lee is a PhD candidate in social work at the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University. He earned his BSW in South Korea and MSW from the University of Michigan. His primary academic interests cover understanding the relationship between previous violence exposure and bullying behaviors among children and adolescents, using trauma-focused, intersectional perspectives. Other research interests of his include understanding the effects of gender ideologies on adolescent boys' aggressive behaviors, preventing men's violence against women, and employing a trauma-informed, socially just research framework.
