Sojeong Lee is currently a third-year doctoral student in the School of Social Welfare, State University of New York-Albany. She received a bachelor’s degree in social welfare and a Master's of social welfare from Pusan National University, South Korea. Her primary areas of interest are health disparities, social determinants of health, assessment of social determinants of health, health disparities, specifically social isolation, loneliness among older adults, food insecurity, and the disproportionate impact of disastrous events, such as a pandemic and environmental risks among vulnerable older adults.
