Jennifer Dell is dually licensed as a Clinical Social Worker and Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Jennifer completed her MSW with a focus in Administration and Community Practice in 2008. She worked for the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services for fifteen years in both direct practice and administrative roles. Her direct service experience includes serving as a counselor in multiple levels of care including inpatient substance abuse treatment, co-occurring residential treatment, and as the lead clinician on an adolescent crisis unit. She has served as the Project Director for several federal grants and as the Systems of Care Manager of Youth and Family Services and Supports. She was part of the 2013 Disaster Response team following the tornados that devastated multiple parts of Oklahoma. Jennifer has been a state level trainer for a variety of evidenced based practices and other programs including Mental Health First Aid, Celebrating Families Programs, and the Young Professional Leadership Training. Jennifer served as a Community Faculty member for the Anne and Henry Zarrow School of Social Work for two years before joining the faculty fulltime in 2018. Jennifer currently serves as the Director of the Undergraduate BASW Program and is the Principal Investigator for the University of Oklahoma Higher Education Prevention Services Initiative.
