Pier Cicerelle has over 10 years of experience as a hospital social worker, practicing primarily at Level 1 trauma centers with acute-care trauma patients and families. Her areas of interest include the social work role within hospital trauma centers, the effect of trauma on health behaviors, and interventions for female victims of community violence. She is a 2006 graduate of West Chester University's MSW Program, where she is currently an Adjunct Professor. She is pursuing her DSW at the University of Pennsylvania, where she received the Ram Cnaan Award in 2014.
