Ning He, MSW, is a Ph.D. candidate at New York University Silver School of Social Work. She researched parenting issues and adolescent mental health in immigrant families, community resilience of serving Chinese elder immigrants in New York City, and medical mistrust among people living with HIV. Her dissertation will be about HIV management among immigrant women. Her research uses family stress theory, social action theory, and immigration adaptation theories to understand risk and resilience for immigrant health. Ning is a mixed-methods researcher with expertise in biosocial statistics and survey methods.
