Dr. Kim is an associate professor at the School of Social Work, Loyola University Chicago. Previously, he had taught at various universities and held the positions of chair, MSW director and associate dean in both Korea and the USA. Dr. Kim’s research areas are Asian American youth and family, child welfare, immigrants, refugees and suicidal behavior. He is a member of CSWE’s Commission on Global Social Work Education.
