Megan Stanton, MSW, PhD (she/her pronouns) is an Assistant Professor of Social Work at Eastern Connecticut State University. She also serves as Evaluator for the SUSTAIN Wellbeing COMPASS Coordinating Center at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work. Her work examines the implementation and effectiveness of community-based and community-led interventions which operate at the individual, community, and sociopolitical levels to support the health and well-being of marginalized groups. Dr. Stanton is interested in participatory action research and public impact evaluation methodologies. Dr. Stanton has an MSW from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work and a Doctorate in Social Welfare from the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice.
