Jamie Swain has over twenty years of experience in child welfare. She worked in various programs, trained, served in leadership roles, and remains active in her local community. Her interests include mental health and service provisions to assist children in successfully transitioning into adulthood. In 2014 Ms. Swain joined the graduate faculty of Albany State University as the field coordinator and Title IV-E Program Manager. Georgia is in the early stages of implementing the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) with our National Child Welfare Workforce Institute (NCWWI) and Title IV-E students and planning for sustainability. Ms. Swain is passionate about educating and strengthening child welfare professionals to meet the complex needs of families. She received her MSW from Valdosta State University in Georgia.
