Christa Doty, MSW, LCSW, CPCC, CNCT, PCC, is a Senior Program Associate with the Butler Institute for Families. In her role at Butler, she provides coaching, training, and technical assistance on the individual and systems level. She has extensive experience as a child welfare caseworker and in supervision specializing in strength-based family-centered practice, safety and risk assessment controls and protocols, solution-focused techniques, and multi-systemic therapy. Her areas of expertise include differential response, supporting supervision, workforce development, program implementation, and coaching techniques used to affect positive systems change. She has successfully trained and coached trainers, caseworkers, supervisors, and managers in Florida, New York, and Colorado, with a focus on topics ranging from system practice shifts to integrating coaching techniques into practice with families and leadership styles. She is an integral part of implementing system change and successful reform across the country, applying the drivers of Implementation Science to reform efforts and using an approach based upon relationship-building and human potential. Ms. Doty is experienced in provision of child protection intake and ongoing caseworker services, and previously supervised an intensive in-home therapy team. Ms. Doty was trained by the Coaching Training Institute, known internationally as a pioneer in the coaching field, and received their Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) as well as her Professional Coaching Certification (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation. She is also a Certified NeuroTransformational Coach (CNTC) through BeAbove Leadership.
