Dr. Trujillo is the Principal Investigator of the Colorado Child Welfare Scholars Consortium (CCWSC) and has been practicing Social Work with a focus on child welfare for over twenty years. She earned a master’s degree (2001) and a PhD (2010) in Social Work, both from the University of Denver. Dr. Trujillo is an Associate Professor at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver). As the Principal Investigator for the CCWSC, Dr. Trujillo is part of the team that has become Qualified Administrators (QA’s) for the Intercultural Developmental Inventory® (IDI®) and embraces the developmental journey and framework of growth towards intercultural competence and adaptive behavior as an guide for the diversity, equity, and inclusion work of the CCWSC community.
