Vashti Adams is a third year doctoral student at the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Social Work. She earned her MSW from Columbia University and is an emerging public health social work researcher. Her research interests are largely related to anti-oppressive, weight inclusive approaches to health promotion, and she is specifically interested in disordered eating prevention among Black adolescent and young adult populations.
