Sarah Hessenauer, PhD, LCSW is a Professor of Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Dr. Hessenauer received her PhD from Loyola University Chicago in December 2011. Dr. Hessenauer’s research has focused primarily on improving the quality of social work education. Prior to obtaining her PhD, Dr. Hessenauer received her Master’s in Social Work and Master’s in Business Administration. Dr. Hessenauer has over twenty years of clinical social work experience in the mental health and addictions fields before eworking in higher education. Dr. Hesseanuer is a CSWE site surveyor. Dr. Hessenauer has also co-authored several social work textbooks.
