Laura Bond is a doctoral student at Boston College. She received her MA from American University's School of International Service. Her research focuses on mental health and psycho-social interventions in conflict-affected countries, implementation science, and building and sustaining strong local expertise. In her doctoral program, she has worked on R01 NIMH-funded programs in Rwanda and Sierra Leone. Prior to joining the doctoral program, Laura worked for an international development agency in Lesotho, India, Afghanistan, and Northeast Nigeria, managing programs focused on education, protection, and emergency relief.
