Liana Marguerite Sandell is a masters student enrolled at Boston College’s School of Social Work, pursuing a clinical track and specializing in the field of health and mental health. Her interests are grounded in the field of trauma, specifically, the study of childhood trauma, adoption, and sex trafficking. She is placed at the Department of Children and Families in Dorchester for her first year internship. In the past, she has served as a volunteer on the nationwide platform, Crisis Text Line, and as a therapeutic mentor for MYS COPE. Previously, she completed her undergraduate education at the University of Connecticut majoring in psychological sciences.
