Anne Farina, PhD, MSW is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work at Seattle University. In her research, Dr. Farina focuses on the impact of war related trauma on families and parenting, trauma-focused interventions, mental health outcomes among international and transracial adoptees, impact of racism on mental health, community-based research, systematic reviews and meta-analysis, mixed methods research, qualitative research, and social media research. Dr. Farina teaches courses in the areas of social work practice, human development, and trauma-informed social work practice.
