Jenny Lamb, LSCSW is currently serving as a Social Work Lecturer at Washburn University. Jenny has also served as the MSW Field Education Director and is presently appointed as the Healthcare Concentration Coordinator. In her work at Washburn University, Jenny continues to mentor field education students serving in an off-site field instructor capacity and teaching both undergraduate and graduate level seminar courses. Jenny also teaches MSW core clinical courses including clinical assessment and diagnosis. Prior to her position at Washburn, Jenny has held the title of Director of Community Wellness in her work with older adults in retirement and extended care community living while engaging in program development. Jenny received her Masters of Social Work from Washburn University in 2006 and completed her postgraduate training, obtaining her clinical social work license, in 2013. Jenny is passionate about promoting a culture of wellness within a multidimensional framework while focusing on strengths and the principle of self-determination. Additionally, Jenny has over 10 years experience working in the mental health field providing treatment in both inpatient and outpatient settings and currently maintains a private practice providing individual, couple and family therapy in her community.
