Shinyi Wu, PhD, is Associate Professor of University of Southern California (USC) with joint appointments in Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work and in Daniel J. Epstein Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Viterbi School of Engineering. Dr. Wu’s scholarship focuses on health services and systems research to identify and address healthcare needs of chronically ill, lower-income, minority, and older populations, and improve their health outcomes through systems redesign research, cost-effectiveness analysis, and innovative applications of health information and mobile technology. She received her PhD in Industrial Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison and was a researcher at RAND. She completed her undergraduate degree in Taiwan.
