Malorie R. Ward is a MSW-PhD student at Arizona State University in the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions, and Research Assistant in the InCommunity Lab, within the Office of Gender-Based Violence at ASU. She is interested in examining health and economic disparities associated with gender-based violence and survival sex trading. Malorie completed her bachelor’s degree in Public and Community Health and has 5+ years experience providing trauma-informed care in various settings, domestically and internationally, to survivors of sex trafficking and intimate partner violence (including diverse, substance-involved, LGBTQIA+, and disabled groups).
