Christina Kerns is a Behavioral Health Specialist with Cummins Behavioral Health with almost eight years of successful experience in utilizing best practice treatment models intended to promote resiliency and independence from ongoing professional behavioral health support. Ms. Kerns is the current President of Phi Alpha Honor Society of Social Work, as she takes great pride in her accomplishments and education. The students and faculty within the Social Work Department have observed her intelligence, motivation, passion, comradery, and positive attitude toward the completion of all tasks. Ms. Kerns also serves as a board member and Silent Auction Chair for Mental Health America of Putnam County. She is also a member of the Cultural Competency Committee as well as the Crisis Response Team for Cummins Behavioral Health. Her professional interests focus on mental health in the rural setting as well as participation in the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Training for law enforcement. MS. Kerns is also one of the most dependable, supportive, and empowering students within the MSW program. She has demonstrated an ability to collaborate with professionals across departments and institutions for the development of her career and academic performance.
