Sarah Leat is an assistant professor of social work for the University of Memphis School of Social Work. She is also a licensed master social worker. Sarah has experience working as an advocate for survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV). Her research has primarily focused on service provision and utilization for survivors of IPV. Sarah is particularly interested in how the built environment impacts survivors’ ability to access services and survivors’ outcomes, such as future experiences of violence and overall health and well-being.
