Dr. Bonita B. Sharma is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Social Work in the College for Health, Community and Policy, the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). Her research uses the feminist lens to address place-based socio-economic and environmental issues related to women’s health and well-being. Dr. Sharma also looks at natural and built environment impacts on vulnerable groups from the sustainable development and resilience perspective.
