Valerie Thompson-Ebanks, MSW, PhD, a Social Work Educator is an Associate Professor and the BSW Program Director in the Division of Social Work at the University of Wyoming. She is deeply committed to human rights and social and economic justice issues as they pertain to youth and adults with disabilities. Her research focuses on illuminating barriers and supports for postsecondary students with disabilities to inform retention strategies and policies for this growing student population. Her body of work has extended to include student veterans issues in higher education.
