Josal Diebold, LMSW is a PhD Candidate in the University at Buffalo School of Social Work. They are an organizer-researcher and focus on the experiences, tools, and challenges of white antiracist community organizers, particularly within the Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ) network. Currently, they are working on their dissertation, which is a deep dive on mutual interest, an organizing tool and value that highlights the stake that white people have in the fight for racial and economic justice.
