Wendy Anderson, PhD, MSW, LGSW, is an associate professor and the MSW Program Director in the Social Work Department at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Prior to joining the faculty at UMD, Wendy earned her PhD from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and her MSW from the University of Illinois Chicago. Wendy’s practice experience has been concentrated in child welfare, child advocacy, and school social work. Wendy’s broad research interests include child sexual abuse, sexual violence, and service access for children following abuse and neglect findings. She has conducted collaborative research with community agencies to evaluate programs and practice.
