My name is Jordan Goodwin (LSW, MDiv) and I use she/her pronouns. I am a fourth-year Doctoral Candidate in the School of Social Work at Rutgers University and an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). I hold a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Florida (2011-2013), a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary (2015-2018) and a Master of Social Work from Rutgers (2018-2019). My research focuses on finding solutions to housing instability & homelessness, the mental health and trauma of marginalized populations, LGBTQIA+ issues, and social determinants of health. I currently work as a graduate research assistant in Rutgers’ Center for Prevention Science, and I have direct practice experience in psychiatric treatment facilities and low-income housing communities.
